Dr. Qiang Kwong

Dr. Qiang Kwong is a well-known Consultant Oculoplastic Surgeon who is department lead for Oculoplastic surgery at Northwest Anglia NHS Trust.
Dr. Kwong has a reputation for excellence in his field and is dedicated to helping patients achieve their best vision and appearance through the latest surgical and non-surgical techniques.
As an Oculoplastic Surgeon, Dr. Kwong specialises in treating a variety of conditions that affect the eyes and surrounding areas, including droopy eyelids, bags under the eyes, and tear duct obstructions. He also performs cosmetic procedures to enhance the appearance of the eyes, such as blepharoplasty and eyebrow lifts.
Education and Training
Dr Kwong is a graduate from both the University of Cambridge (2003) and University of Oxford (2006). After obtaining his medical degree, he then completed Ophthalmology training in London including many years at the prestigious Moorfields Eye Hospital resulting in becoming dual qualified as both Fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists (FRCOphth) as well as Fellow of the European Board of Ophthalmologists (FEBO).
He has furthermore undertaken additional 3 years of subspecialty oculoplastic fellowships both in the UK and internationally in Vancouver, Canada.
Dr Kwong is also an experienced non-surgical cosmetic doctor with a particular interest in treating the eyelid and tear trough area.
Teaching and Research
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Kwong is also a dedicated teacher and researcher.
He has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed medical journals and has presented his research at national and international conferences. He regularly mentors surgeons in training and has a specialty lead role in the education of Cambridge University medical students.
